Cheque changes for institutional and corporate accounts

Australia's payment landscape is changing. Cheques are being phased out as corporates choose faster, more secure ways to do their transaction banking. To support this, we’re making changes to our cheque offering.

What’s changing?

From 1 July 2025

If you have not ordered a cheque book on your account, you will no longer be able to order one.

If you have previously ordered a cheque book on your business account, you can re-order via your ANZ Transactive - Global platform.
